As UFE's signature event, UFE Halloween Mayhem has already been generating a lot of buzz as competitors look to get ready for this one-of-a-kind event. In order to get everyone a little more revved up, we have released a first edition of the poster early. It has been getting distributed for a couple of weeks now and the feedback so far has been great. We hope you all enjoy it! After a 7-year layoff from competition, UFE President, Sean Everingham, has been confronted by several people about rumours of a comeback to the stage. Well, the rumours are no longer rumours. Anxious to show he practices what he preaches and hoping to show that he can make an impact, Sean will return to competition at the WBFF World Championship on September 20th at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga.
"I figured it was time to satisfy the itch to get back on stage and show my clients, UFE competitors and the industry, for that matter, that I practice what I preach and I know what it's like to be a competitor. I feel that WBFF has a similar vision to UFE and actively seeks to put on spectacular events and generate hype about their competitors so I thought this would be an ideal event to make my comeback at," reports Sean.

UFE Halloween Mayhem is fast approaching and with a little more than 19 weeks left, many people are already starting to prepare. If you are sitting on the fence, you need to get off it and come join in the Mayhem and here's why:

While UFE shows have attracted people locally and from all across North America including British Columbia, Quebec, Alberta, Michigan, New York and even Texas, we now look to expand from our home in Ontario and take our shows national! In 2009, UFE will be adding at least 1 more event to our schedule that will be outside of Ontario. We look forward to filling everyone in with the details as they become finalized!

Using only the success of their inaugural event, UFE Halloween Mayhem, as a springboard, Ultimate Fitness Events ventured into new territory by adding another event to their event series in Toronto. Having no previous history in Toronto, UFE Spring Bash still managed to attract a good group of competitors and became an amazing show! Industry legends including Korby Banner and Glen Grant were in attendance while hot, new photographer, Joel Roberts was also out in force capturing the action. Talent scout and photographer Andrew Braun, Inside Fitness Publisher, Terry Frendo and UFE's Official Magazine, Xtreme Lifestyle Mag were also in attendence and were impressed by the calibre of the competitors as a whole at this show.
At the end of the day, Erwin Smith came away with the overall title in men's bodybuilding while Krista Shaus took the top spot in women's bodybuilding. Merideth Kahn was our fitness champ while Vicky Higgins defended her UFE Halloween Mayhem title and came out victorious in the figure category. Tai Keov took top spot in the men's fitness model category and finally, not only did Lynette Williams win the women's fitness model category, she came away with $2500 as the grand champion of the event!!
We appreciate the awesome competitors who took part in this show as well as the energetic audience that packed the house. For those of you who will be attending UFE Spring Bash as competitors or spectators, please note that there has been a change to the finals portion of the show. Because the figure and bodybuilding portion of the show is fairly small at this event, we could not justify charging a separate ticket price to see the finals of these two categories. Furthermore, due to the extreme popularity of the UFC and the fact that their first event in Canada is taking place on the same night we have combined the figure and bodybuilding finals into the fitness and fitness model finals in order to have the show done in time for the large number of fans who want to catch the action of the UFC. Finals for ALL categories will now take place at 5pm and ticket prices will remain at $20 ($25 VIP) for advance tickets and $25 ($30 VIP) for tickets purchased at the door. Prejudging will begin at 9am for ALL categories. The competitor meeting will take place at the Holiday Inn Express located at 30 Norfinch Drive on Friday April 18th beginning at 6pm. Muscle Camp - May 10th
The next UFE Contest Preparation Workshop isn't until October, but you don't have to wait that long for your chance to learn everything you need in order to do your best in competition. UFE Judge and IFBB Figure Pro, Tammy Strome and accomplished bodybuilder, Kevin Ferrell will take competitors through everything they need to know including training techniques and principles, nutrition and supplementation, posing and more! Representatives from OPA, WBFF and UFE will be on hand to discuss their repsective organizations and answer any questions that attendees may have.
Whether you are a competitor or want to know what it takes to get up on stage, this workshop will prove immensely beneficial!

April 19th will mark the start of Ultimate Fitness Events' first full contest season and we're looking to start it off with a bang!
